Image Interference. From the late 1970s onward, Thomas Degen captured the visual glitches that appeared on tv sets and monitors of all kinds. Every TV system generated unique distortions, with the U.S. NTSC system often producing more unpredictable, erratic effects than Germany’s PAL standard. Some jokingly claimed that NTSC stood for “Never The Same Color.”
